Due to the unprecedented russian attacks on energy infrastructure and severe frosts, the situation in the energy system remains challenging. Alongside nationwide support programmes, the Government is ensuring pinpoint help for those who need it most right now. This was emphasised by Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Together with the Naftogaz Group, we are providing targeted assistance to people with reduced mobility, individuals in difficult life circumstances, and lonely pensioners. The first 10,000 ‘Warmth Packages’ have already been received by residents of the districts in Kyiv and the region where the situation is most difficult. These are primarily the Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts of the capital, as well as Boryspil and Brovary in the Kyiv region,” said the Prime Minister.

The package contains items to help get through the cold period, keep warm, stay connected, and charge medical devices.
