The Government has decided to allocate over UAH 26 million for the purchase of modern medical vehicles. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers on May 6.

"Renewal of the medical vehicle fleet means prompt response, which is often key to saving lives. Therefore, we will further pay attention to this issue," he emphasized.

In addition, according to Denys Shmyhal, UAH 4.9 million has been allocated for subventions to communities in Dnipro region to upgrade school canteens. These funds were provided as part of the support of the UN World Food Program.

"Currently, 1.6 million primary school students receive free meals. Starting from September, we will extend this practice to all schoolchildren in the frontline regions," the Prime Minister emphasized and added that the Government would gradually expand the initiative to provide children with free meals.
