    Distinguished colleagues! Fellow Ukrainians!

We begin a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Despite all the difficulties caused by the full-scale war, the Ukrainian economy continues its gradual recovery.

Thanks to all diligent taxpayers, in April, the general fund of the state budget received almost UAH 275 billion, and since the beginning of the year - over UAH 856 billion.

These are resources in taxes, fees, excise duties, and customs duties.

I thank Ukrainians for their work and responsibility. I am grateful to Ukrainian businesses that preserve jobs and invest in Ukraine.

Every hryvnia collected domestically is used for the defense of our country.

At the expense of domestic resources we pay salaries to the military, buy weapons, provide the army with ammunition, food and medicines.

This year, we will spend 26% of the country's GDP on the defense and security sector.

Thus, everyone who pays taxes contributes to our resilience and brings a just peace closer.

The budget deficit is covered by international support from partners and domestic borrowing.

It is important that the entire need for external financing for this year - more than USD 39 billion - is fully covered.

We thank our partners for their solidarity and count on their continued support.

The priorities of the civilian budget include spending on healthcare and education, salaries and pensions. These are basic things that we finance under any circumstances.

Today we are strengthening the capabilities of our healthcare system. We allocate over UAH 26 million to purchase modern medical vehicles.

Renewal of the medical vehicle fleet means prompt response, which is often key to saving lives. Therefore, we will further pay attention to this issue.

In addition, we shall distribute UAH 4.9 million for subventions to communities in Dnipro region to upgrade school canteens.

We are grateful to the UN World Food Program that provides these funds.

Currently, 1.6 million primary school students receive free meals.

Starting from September, we will extend this practice to all schoolchildren in the frontline regions.

We will gradually expand the initiative to provide children with free meals.

These days, one of the Government's major programs, eVidnovnennia, marks two years of operation.

This is an effective tool that allows us to provide people with compensation for damaged or lost housing right now.

Over the two years, almost 100,000 Ukrainian families have benefited from it, receiving funds to restore damaged houses or purchase new housing under housing certificates.

Assistance to families for the repair of damaged housing has already amounted to UAH 9.8 billion. The state has made it possible to generate 17,400 housing certificates for over UAH 25 billion. Also, we have already received almost a thousand applications for payments for the construction of new housing on private land plots.

We are constantly expanding the eVidnovlennia program by adding new options.

Thus, compensation for IDPs and the possibility to pay the first installment of the mortgage with a housing certificate are available.

Participation in this program provides another way to purchase their own housing on favorable terms, and 16,700 families have already taken advantage of it.

The Government will retain its focus on solving the housing problem.

I sincerely thank all Ukrainians for their resilience in the fight against the enemy, the defenders of the state for their daily heroism on the front line, the employees of critical services for their excellent work in the rear, and teachers and doctors for their selfless work.

Together, we will withstand and rebuild the country.

    Thank you for your attention!

    Glory to Ukraine!
