On 6 August, the Government updated the rules for supporting livestock farming. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to the Government’s decision, farmers will be able to receive:

  • up to 80% compensation for the cost of breeding animals;
  • up to 25% compensation for expenses related to the construction or renovation of farms, milking parlours, or processing facilities.

“This programme provides farmers with tools for development. It enables them to reduce their costs, modernise production, increase livestock numbers, and create jobs in communities,” stated the Prime Minister.
