Ukraine today, in the political sense, shall win the battle of ideas and has been demonstrating progress on the path of reforms and transformations that can not be abandoned. This was stated by Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson during a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. The meeting took place on the eve of the Second Ukraine Reform Conference, as part of the working visit of the Head of Ukraine’s Government to the Kingdom of Denmark.
"The friends of Ukraine are getting together. Impressed by the progress that Ukraine have achieved. You must build on the momentum. And this conference is a great opportunity to realize what is the current state of affairs and how the situation will develop in the future", said Boris Johnson. "Today you’ll win the battle of ideas, and you should keep on the course of reforms."
"We are grateful for the high praise and are determined to pursue the reforms aimed to increase the prosperity of Ukrainian citizens", said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine informed the top official about the current economic situation in Ukraine, disclosed the details of recent decisions, including the functioning of the Anticorruption court.
During the conversation, the parties touched upon various issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed the possibile shared positions in negotiations with international partners.
