Ukraine and the Czech Republic outlined priorities for cooperation for 2018-2019

The eighth meeting of the Ukrainian-Czech mixed intergovernmental commission on economic, industrial and scientific and technical cooperation chaired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Government of the Czech Republic Tomáš Hüner was held in Prague.

The parties discussed key areas - trade, industry, energy. The cooperation in the said sectors is in the mutual interests of Ukraine and the Czech Republic.

The sides agreed to promote the organization of the production of agricultural machinery in Ukraine and the expansion of export-import supplies of agricultural products.

Apart from that, the parties agreed to deepen cooperation in automotive industry, which had been successfully developed for many years in the territory of Ukraine with the assistance of Czech investments.

The Vice Prime Minister stressed that the agreements reached will shape the basis for the further implementation of concrete projects in the promising areas of cooperation and will bring Ukrainian-Czech trade and economic cooperation to a new level.
