The State Migration Service of Ukraine continues its active international work and expands the geography of operation of standalone branches of the State Enterprise “Document” abroad. In particular, due to the fruitful cooperation of the State Migration Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainians can now obtain ID documents not only in Poland and Turkey, but also in two more EU countries – Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Currently, applications for Ukrainian ID documents are being accepted in Bratislava and Prague in a test mode. In the capitals of the two European countries, mobile technical units are operating – specially equipped white minivans with the Passport Service branding.
Citizens are served from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 to 18:00 inclusive, in an electronic and “live” queue.
In Bratislava, the mobile units are located at: Mlynskénivy 5A, 821 09 Bratislava (-1st floor, bus station area).
In Prague, they are located on a site behind the Kotva shopping center at: Náměstí Republiky 656/8, 110 00, Staré Město, Praha 1.
Here, Ukrainians can receive services such as:
Besides, starting next week, the service of exchanging a driver’s license will be available in the above cities.
It should be noted that payment for services in the mobile units is made on-site using an online service (no cash payment is available). To do this, one needs to have a smartphone and a bank card or its details.
Currently, foreign branches of the SE “Document” are already available in the cities of Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw) and Turkey (Istanbul).
