Ukrainian energy specialists inspected energy facilities in Germany for further transfer to Ukraine

In line with the agreements of First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal with German Federal Minister of Economy and Energy Katharina Reiche, and under coordination by GIZ, a delegation of Ukrainian energy companies visited the production facilities of one of the German companies.
The delegation included representatives of JSC Ukrnafta, PJSC Ukrhydroenergo, LLC Naftogaz Teplo, and LLC Euro-Reconstruction.
During the visit, Ukrainian experts inspected equipment considered for transfer to Ukraine as humanitarian aid. This includes generators, transformers, electric cables, pumps, valves, switchgear, and other equipment necessary for restoring energy infrastructure.
After the completion of required procedures, the equipment will be handed over to Ukrainian energy companies to carry out repair and restoration work, strengthen the resilience of the energy system, and prepare for the autumn-winter period.
