Ukrainian farmers harvest over 27 million tonnes of grain and legume crops

As of 22 August 2025, Ukraine has harvested 27,251,900 tonnes of early grain and legume crops across an area of 6,700,900 hectares. This represents 60% of the areas sown with these crops.
Specifically:
- Wheat: 21,009,900 tonnes harvested from 4,873,100 hectares.
- Barley: 4,970,600 tonnes harvested from 1,304,600 hectares.
- Peas: 581,700 tonnes harvested from 258,600 hectares.
Other grains and legumes: 685,300 tonnes harvested from 260,600 hectares.
Leading regions include:
- Odesa region: 3,442,200 tonnes harvested from 1,083,400 hectares.
- Vinnytsia region: 2,385,800 tonnes harvested from 423,700 hectares.
- Kirovohrad region: 2,204,000 tonnes harvested from 533,400 hectares.
Rapeseed: 3,162,800 tonnes harvested from 1,283,000 hectares.
In Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions, sunflower harvesting has begun, while in Kharkiv region, soybean harvesting has started.
