The Government has decided to change the mechanism of payment of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine scholarship for outstanding achievements in higher education. The resolution is aimed at improving the process of paying scholarships, in particular to academic staff working in higher education institutions managed by other central executive authorities.

The decision will allow the Ministry of Education and Science to pay scholarships directly to all scholarship holders by transferring funds to their bank accounts.
