Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with the Ukrainian community in Prague.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of concern to Ukrainians abroad. In particular, access to administrative and consular services, as well as support for new initiatives and strengthening ties between the community and Ukraine.
“It is especially gratifying to see Ukrainians here organising cultural, educational and charitable projects, demonstrating the power of unity and love for their native land. This is more than support – it is a fight for Ukraine, for our common values and future, no matter where we are,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the main areas of work of the Ministry of National Unity. He also spoke about the establishment of Unity Hubs in countries of temporary residence and the strategy to support Ukrainians abroad.
“It is important that every citizen, wherever he or she is, feels part of a strong, united nation,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov.
He thanked the representatives of the Ukrainian community for their activity and assured that all the issues and suggestions raised during the meeting would be worked out. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to work together to improve conditions for Ukrainians.
