Today, on 29 September 2024, a ceremony of commemoration of the victims of mass shootings in occupied Kyiv during the Second World War was held near the Menorah monument in the Babyn Yar Memorial Park. The ceremony gathered together President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Mykola Tochytskyi, rabbis, ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary, heads of missions of international organisations and representatives of diplomatic missions.

"We cannot forget about such terrible times - fascism and Nazism. We must remind everyone of this. Not only in Ukraine, but also to remind everyone abroad that such terrible times cannot return again," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
