The Government has approved the launch of a pilot project that will help calculate the actual cost of providing public services and establish a unified calculation system.
How it will work:
- A special digital calculator will be created on the Diia portal for the calculations.
- Employees of Administrative Service Centres and state authorities will enter data into the system about the resources spent on delivering each service.
- The calculator will automatically compute the cost using the updated formula.
The pilot project, launched as part of the implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Programme, will cover 18 popular paid services. These include marriage registration, passport issuance, driving licence issuance, registration of place of residence, and others.
The collected data will be analysed and a report prepared for the Government. This will make it possible to propose legislative changes to establish a single methodology for calculating administrative fees, based on real data.
