On 1 November, the Government adopted a resolution to introduce an electronic register of applications for and recipients of state support in the field of culture. The project is being coordinated by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications, the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting and the State Agency for Arts and Art Education.

The introduction of the Register will allow the state to move from paper-based processes to a modern automated system for submitting and reviewing applications for state support, and will promote transparency and openness in the competitive selection process.

The Register will become the main tool for the centralised collection, processing and protection of data on state support in the cultural sector and will facilitate access to information on funding opportunities.
