  • Administrative service centres will become “single window” for veterans and their families to receive services

    A weekly meeting on veterans’ policy was held, chaired by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

    At the meeting, the Ministry for Veterans Affairs made a presentation entitled “Single window in Administrative Service Centres as a tool for providing quality administrative services to veterans and their families”.

    In particular, the presentation outlined specific ways to integrate all possible services for veterans into the ASC system. After all, it is the ASCs that are more adaptable to new challenges.

    In order to simplify the life of veterans and their families, an approach is already being introduced that will allow them to apply with a single set of documents to the ASC, which will then distribute the data to all the necessary entities.

    In general, the introduction of a “single window” at the ASCs will:

    • create a single database of services for war veterans;
    • maximise veterans’ awareness of their opportunities;
    • create convenient, high-quality and accessible conditions for receiving administrative services;
    • implement an integrated approach – receiving a range of administrative services in one place from one or more service providers.
