Situation in the power system as of March 9: the enemy shelled Ukrenergo substation in Zaporizhzhia region; there is no electricity shortage registered - 17 units of TPP generating equipment are in standby
GENERATION
There is no electricity shortage in the power system. A unit at one of the TPPs was put out for emergency repairs.
At Odesa TPP, equipment was shut down due to technological disruptions, which resulted in short-term power outages for household consumers in Odesa and local infrastructure. The equipment is back in operation and all consumers are supplied with electricity.
The company has 15 units and 2 buildings of TPPs in reserve to be used if necessary. Commercial electricity imports and exports are also planned.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING
At night, the enemy struck a 330 kV substation of NPC Ukrenergo in Zaporizhzhia region with a UAV. Fortunately, there were no casualties registered. The equipment was not damaged and no outages occurred.
CONDITION OF GRIDS
Equipment at the 330 kV high-voltage substation in Lviv region was disconnected due to damage. No consumers were de-energized. The equipment was returned to operation during the day.
During the operational switching, a 330 kV overhead line in Dnipropetrovsk region was disconnected, but was powered within half an hour.
In Kharkiv and Kirovohrad regions, 330 kV high-voltage lines were briefly disconnected due to damage to the grid.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The 330 kV line supplying ZNPP remains de-energized.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 1910 MWh, while exports to Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova and Hungary are also expected to reach 5778 MWh.
