Situation in the power system as of 6 April: 300,000 customers in Kharkiv region are without electricity due to grid restrictions; there is no shortage of electricity in the power system.
GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Yesterday in Ukraine, due to the grid constraints on the transmission system operator's lines, emergency power outage schedules were applied for several hours in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Poltava and Sumy regions. Grid restrictions are also possible this day.
Today, restrictions are still in place and hourly outage schedules will be applied in Kharkiv region, with 300,000 customers without power.
Yesterday afternoon, at the request of the transmission system operator, emergency electricity was supplied to Poland. The total amount of electricity transmitted was 2200 MWh.
There is no shortage of electricity in the integrated power system. Ukraine's power system is stable and balanced.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
This morning, during an air raid alert, equipment at a high-voltage substation in Kyiv region and an overhead line were briefly disconnected.
STATE OF THE GRID
Yesterday in Kharkiv region, several high-voltage overhead lines were switched off for technological reasons, and equipment at a high-voltage substation was disconnected. During the day, the overhead lines and equipment at the substation were brought back online. However, unfortunately, restrictions are still in place in Kharkiv region due to significant damage to equipment caused by massive shelling by the enemy.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The 330 kV backup line remains de-energised. The plant is powered by a single 750 kV line. The water level in the cooling pond is 15.50 metres. This is sufficient to cover the plant's needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
Electricity imports are planned for the current day in the amount of 2681 MWh. No exports are planned.
