POWER GENERATION
A unit at one of the thermal power plants came out of scheduled maintenance. It added 100 MW of capacity to the grid.
The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet consumer demand.
In the morning of yesterday, a restriction of 408 MW was applied to the generation of electricity from renewable sources. One unit at one of the thermal power plants is currently undergoing short-term repairs.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING
In Kharkiv, 146 residential and 13 commercial customers lost electricity as a result of overnight shelling.
In Vinnytsia region, 1,562 consumers lost power as a result of falling debris from a downed drone. Most were reconnected by the morning.
SITUATION IN FRONTLINE REGIONS
In Sumy region, one settlement that was cut off due to technical faults has been reconnected. More than 2,000 consumers have been reconnected.
In Donetsk region, 2,709 customers were cut off due to shelling over the past day.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, 166 consumers were disconnected due to hostilities. All were reconnected.
Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv and Kherson regions remain without electricity.
Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
In total, more than 11,000 consumers have had their electricity restored over the past day. Most of them are in Donetsk region.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
In Kherson, the Kherson CHPP was disconnected due to a power line failure.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
More than 1,000 consumers in Kherson remain without electricity due to flooding.
Power engineers are working to restore power, but repairs are slowed by shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond at the Zaporizhzhia NPP remains unchanged at 15.68 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports totalled 29 MWh over the past day. Exports totalled 702 MWh.
