No electricity shortage, a TPP unit is in reserve
Power generation and consumption
There is no electricity shortage. Domestic generation is sufficient to cover the needs of consumers.
Two TPP buildings are out of service for emergency repairs. At the same time, there is a thermal generation unit in reserve that will be put back into operation if necessary.
The situation is under control. No blackout schedules are applied.
Consequences of shelling
Artillery shelling damaged 110 kV overhead lines in Kharkiv region. As a result, the lines and substations of Kharkivoblenergo and Ukrzaliznytsia were disconnected, and household consumers and local industry were cut off. The hostilities also caused damage to power equipment in one of the districts, leaving households in three settlements without electricity.
In Sumy region, 110 kV lines and substations were shut down due to shelling, and a section of Sumyoblenergo JSC was shelled, with no casualties.
Residential consumers and local industry also lost power, but all have been reconnected.
State of the grid
A 330 kV overhead line of NPC Ukrenergo in Lviv region was de-energised due to a fallen tree, no consumers were disconnected. The line is now back in operation.
Situation at the ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.62 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
Import/export
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 4,772 MWh. No exports are planned.
