Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.
Seven TPPs are undergoing short-term maintenance.
This will not affect the stability of electricity generation.
The maximum consumption was recorded at 17:40 yesterday.
Consequences of shelling
Almost 400 customers in Sumy region were left without gas supply as a result of hostilities in a village bordering russia. The military has not yet granted permission to carry out repair work.
Kharkiv region continues to suffer from shelling. The enemy struck again, damaging overhead lines. Restoration work is underway. More than 17,500 customers are still without electricity. The shelling also damaged a low-pressure gas pipeline.
Situation in the regions
Due to the bad weather and hostilities, 427 settlements remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore electricity supply.
The heating season has started in Kherson. Overnight, power companies have restored electricity to more than 500 customers in the regional centre. In the region the power was restored to 11,900 customers. More than 32,000 customers remain without power.
In Donetsk region, over 7,800 customers were reconnected overnight. Almost 2,000 of them were left without electricity due to the hostilities. There are 115 settlements in the region remaining cut off from electricity.
In Zaporizhzhia region, 200 customers were cut off for technological reasons. Almost 26,000 customers remain disconnected due to the hostilities.
In addition, a 10 kV overhead line in Mykolaiv region was disconnected for technical reasons, leaving more than 600 consumers without power.
The regions are also suffering from the effects of bad weather. In Poltava region, more than 600 customers are without power due to the weather. Restoration works are ongoing.
Power supply is being restored in Sumy region, and power engineers have reconnected overhead lines that were cut off due to the hostilities. More than 400 customers are without power due to technical failures, and more than 2,200 customers are without power due to hostilities.
In Khmelnytskyi region, 500 customers were cut off from gas supply as a result of damage to a gas distribution pipeline.
In total, over 62,000 consumers were restored to electricity over the last day.
Situation at the ZNPP
Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, the water level in the plant’s cooling pond has slightly increased to 15.66 metres.
This is enough to meet the needs of the ZNPP.
Import/export
Over the past day, electricity exports to Slovakia and Romania amounted to 200 MWh, while imports from these countries totalled 970 MWh.
