Situation in the power system as of 12 June: 237 settlements were cut off due to the weather; hourly outage schedules are planned.
GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Yesterday, due to the shortage of generation caused by massive russian attacks on energy facilities, restrictions were imposed on users.
Today, hourly outage schedules are preliminarily planned from 15:00 to 23:00.
No outages are planned for critical infrastructure companies and companies that import 80% of their electricity in accordance with a government decree.
CONSEQUENCES OF BAD WEATHER
As of 8 a.m., 237 settlements were without power as a result of the weather. In particular, 117 in Kyiv region, 46 in Chernihiv region, 42 in Khmelnytsky region, 14 in Cherkasy region, 13 in Zhytomyr region and 5 in Sumy region. Restoration works are ongoing.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
In Kherson region, two overhead lines were simultaneously disconnected during an air raid alert. Consumers in Kherson and the region lost power. All consumers have been reconnected.
Also in Kherson region, an inspection of the substation revealed damage to equipment and an administrative building due to shelling.
In Kharkiv region, 112 consumers were disconnected from gas supply due to enemy shelling, and 120 consumers in Donetsk region.
The enemy attacked a power company substation on the border territory of Sumy region with drones, resulting in a power outage for 1,016 customers in 14 settlements.
EMERGENCIES
Last night in Sumy region, a 52-year-old electrician of Ukrzaliznytsia was electrocuted when he approached a broken wire to a dangerous distance during repair work. He was taken to hospital by ambulance in a state of consciousness.
STATE OF THE GRIDS
In the morning, a cable line went down in Kyiv. 114 institutions and 115 residential buildings in the central part of the capital lost power.
In the western region, a high-voltage overhead line was disconnected as a result of damage caused by a thunderstorm in Hungary. It was put under emergency repairs and brought back into operation by the evening.
A high-voltage overhead line was disconnected in the Kyiv region. It was brought back into operation within a few hours. The outage was caused by a short circuit in Belarus.
In Zakarpattia, an overhead power line of a regional power company was briefly out of service. As a result, several substations connected to household consumers and the railway lost power (there were disruptions in train traffic). All consumers have been reconnected.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.18 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the station.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 29,796 MWh. No exports are expected.
