A power unit of a 150 MW thermal power plant has been connected to the grid, and two towns in Donetsk region are without power due to shelling.
POWER GENERATION
A power unit at a thermal power plant resumed operation ahead of schedule after repairs. It will add 150 MW to the grid.
Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which may be affected by russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Donetsk region, the shelling damaged power grids, which resulted in a power outage for more than 21,000 customers in the cities of Toretsk, Druzhkivka and neighbouring villages. Consumers have been partially reconnected and repair works are ongoing.
Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair crews work where the security situation allows.
STATE OF THE GRID
The 330 kV overhead line Chornobyl NPP – Slavutych was out of service twice due to a technological failure, but was restored to normal operation automatically. 330 kV lines in Vinnytsia and Lviv regions were also briefly out of service.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
In Cherkasy region, a 110 kV power line was disconnected due to a technological failure, which led to a power outage for about 5,000 consumers in Zvenyhorod district. The consumers have been supplied with electricity.
CONSEQUENCES OF BAD WEATHER
A storm caused damage to power lines in Chernihiv region. Five settlements were cut off from power, and repair works are underway.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
In Kherson, more than 100 customers who were cut off after the flooding were reconnected yesterday. About 10,000 customers are still without power. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond. It is currently at 16.09 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports over the past day amounted to 1,295.00 MWh. There were no exports.
