All 9 nuclear units in Ukraine-controlled territory are operational, the enemy damaged the power infrastructure in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv regions
POWER GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION
The 9th nuclear power unit was connected to the power grid after scheduled repairs. From now on, all units at Ukrainian NPPs will operate during the cold season to meet the needs of consumers. Nuclear power accounts for more than 55% of electricity generated in the country.
Due to lower temperatures and deteriorating weather conditions, electricity consumption is gradually increasing. The maximum over the past day was recorded at 17:20.
Over the past day, 5 TPP units were out for short-term repairs. One of them has already returned to operation.
These disruptions do not affect the electricity supply. It is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
In Zaporizhzhia region, the enemy shelling damaged a 35kV overhead line. It will be inspected once allowed by the military.
As a result of night shelling in Kharkiv region, in particular the towns of Borova, Kupyansk, and Vovchansk, power grids were damaged. More than 17,600 consumers remain without power as a result of the hostilities.
In Chernihiv region, the enemy damaged an overhead line with shelling, which resulted in a broken wire and a resulting power cut. More than 900 customers lost power.
STATE OF THE GRID
A 330 kV line of the transmission system operator in Zaporizhzhia region was disconnected. The inspection is ongoing.

In particular, over the past day, power engineers have restored power to more than 19,000 customers in Zaporizhzhia region and almost 100,000 customers in Chernihiv region. Work to restore power supply continues in other regions.
