Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. Yesterday afternoon, restrictions on renewable energy production in various regions with a total capacity of 300 MW were applied for an hour.

Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which will take place in the face of russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.

    Consequences of shelling

Power grids were damaged in Kharkiv as a result of shelling. Power engineers are checking the extent of the damage.

Enemy shelling damaged power lines in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. More than 1,000 customers are without power. Some customers have been partially reconnected, and repairs are ongoing.

    Situation in the frontline areas

Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Donetsk region, a 110 kV overhead power line in Toretsk damaged by enemy shelling the day before was reconnected. In total, over 19,000 consumers in 5 settlements were supplied with power overnight.

Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam blow-up

In Kherson, the power grids damaged by the flood are being restored. Over the past 24 hours, power engineers have powered more than 800 electricity access points.

About 4,500 consumers remain without power in the city. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.

    Situation at the ZNPP

There is a slight decrease in the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond. It is currently at 15.92 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
