Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi held a regular online meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania Florin-Ionuț Barbu.
The parties discussed cooperation in the agricultural sector between Ukraine and Romania. In particular, they discussed the conditions and mechanisms for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products to Romania.
Florin-Ionuț Barbu noted that Romania would continue to support Ukraine in the export and transit of agricultural products. The Romanian minister also praised Ukraine’s action plan for grain exports.
Mykola Solskyi, in turn, thanked for the support and noted that Romania’s proposals on grain supplies were acceptable and that Ukraine was ready to take them into account.
The Ukrainian and Romanian ministers agreed to work out a joint plan for further cooperation within 30 days.
