    In Kharkiv region, gas transmission system facilities were damaged due to shelling; consumers in 10 regions were left without electricity due to shelling and technical disruptions

    CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING

    At night, the enemy conducted another drone strike. Damage to the gas transmission infrastructure was recorded in Kharkiv region. In particular, the industrial site of a gas distribution station that supplies a thermal power plant was damaged. Also, the wreckage of a downed drone fell on the industrial site of another gas distribution station in the city, the nature of the damage is being investigated. The fires at both facilities were contained and the operation of the gas distribution station was not interrupted. There were no fatalities or injuries.

    A 6 kV power line in Odesa region was also damaged as a result of the drone’s wreckage, and consumers were cut off from power. Repairs are underway.

    SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE AREAS

    The occupiers continue to terrorise the frontline and border areas of the country. The shelling caused power outages to nearly 700 customers in Mykolaiv region and 1,400 customers in Dnipropetrovsk region. All of them have now been reconnected.

    As a result of shelling, 6,700 customers in Kherson region and 6,200 customers in Kharkiv region lost power.

    Some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions are also without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.

    POWER GENERATION

    The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.

    Power engineers continue to prepare the energy system for the heating season, which will take place in the face of russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.

    SITUATION IN THE REGIONS

    Due to technological disruptions, 14,600 consumers in Zaporizhzhia region and almost 600 consumers in Kirovohrad region lost power. All of them have been reconnected.

    In Sumy region, 3 settlements remain without power due to technical failures. Crews are working to restore power supply.

    CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP

    In Kherson, 1,700 consumers remain without power after the flooding. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.

    SITUATION AT THE ZNPP

    There is a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond. It is currently at 15.74 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

    EXPORT/IMPORT

    Commercial electricity imports totalled 1,244 MWh over the past day. Exports to Slovakia and Moldova totalled 387.00 MWh.
