Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), as one of the largest associations of Ukrainians around the world, is committed to supporting Ukraine and the course of reforms being implemented by the Ukrainian Government. This was announced by President of the Ukrainian World Congress Paul Grod during a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.

The Head of Government congratulated the UWC President on his appointment and thanked his predecessor – Eugene Czolij for fruitful years of cooperation.

"We have strong ties which we have been building for many years. I want to assure you that we are ready for cooperation for the sake of development," Paul Grod stressed.

"Your role is incredibly important," Volodymyr Groysman stressed. "We feel the support of the UWC. And I am glad that we have understanding and willingness to resolve any issues."

The parties discussed the current situation in Ukraine - first and foremost, given existing challenges. As the UWC representatives stressed that a new wave of aggression against Ukraine forces to mobilize and bring all information about what is happening and what the response should be to the whole world.

Apart from that, the parties touched upon economic issues. Representatives of the UWC noted that at present, it is essential not only to support Ukrainians abroad but to help the Government to create conditions for the return of Ukrainians to their homeland.

"We are ready to convince the Western world that Ukraine is an interesting investment destination, and it has interesting development prospects," Eugene Czolij, a former UWC President said. "Ukraine has done more in recent years than in the past decades. I want to assure you that we will bring information about changes in Ukraine to the communities and forums. In this regard, you can count on us."
