    December 5, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine/ Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.

    Government officials of the two countries have focused on providing the mutual access of goods to the markets of Ukraine and Uzbekistan, as well as the importance of forming the anticipated trade relations between the countries.

    "One of the most important tools for establishing a better trade and economic dialogue between Ukraine and Uzbekistan is viewed the renewal of the work of the Joint Ukrainian-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission for Comprehensive Cooperation and the early holding of the eighth regular meeting of the Commission to ensure joint discussion of the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries", Stepan Kubiv emphasized in a conversation.

    The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan supported the importance of resuming the activities of the Commission and assured in the removal of the obstacles and settlement of the areas of concern in the mutual deliveries of goods to the markets of Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
