Today under the chairmanship of the Deputy Ministers of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Lev Partzhaladze and Eduard Krugliak in the city of Ichnya, Chernihiv region, a meeting of the operational headquarters for the elimination of consequences of the emergency took place. The meeting was held on commission of Volodymyr Groysman, Prime Minister of Ukraine, and Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, announced the Vice Prime Minister.

He noted that the Government had allocated UAH 100 million from the Reserve Fund of the Cabinet of Ministers to overcome the consequences of the emergency situation in Chernihiv region. "The Government has allotted UAH 100 million from the Reserve Fund to overcome the aftereffects of an emergency. These funds can be used to purchase housing (for 11 most affected families) and to compensate for repairs to other victims. Chernihiv Regional State Administration should as soon as possible collect the entire package of documents in order to start using these funds", said Hennadii Zubko.

According to him, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service continue to clean the territory. There is also taking place a survey of residential buildings, social facilities and life support infrastructure. "For today, 3 thousand 641 explosive objects have been removed. Surveys of residential buildings, structures, social facilities and life support infrastructure are being carried out - more than 90% have been checked. As a result, 4 buildings in the village of Avgustuvka were destroyed, 114 buildings, apartments and other capital buildings were damaged in 20 settlements. 39 buildings have been restored. Life support systems in Ichnya area operate smoothly", the Vice Prime Minister stressed.

Currently, 78 people (including 11 children) are still in medical institutions in the town of Ichnia, Paraphiyivka town and in the Krupychpilsky department of in-patient care for the permanent or temporary residence of single elderly.

25 children have been sent to the sanatorium Zeleny Hai (Green grove) in Chernihiv for rehabilitation.

The Vice Prime Minister reminded that for the prevention of emergencies in settlements near the arsenal the following measures have been introduced:

• railway traffic through the station Ichnia has been temporarily stopped;
• road traffic was sent to circumvent the emergency zone;
• airspace within a radius of 30 km is closed;
• on entry into the forest area were installed 20 crossing gates.
