Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi congratulated employees of Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) and presented rescuers with state awards and government commendations.

"Today I congratulated SES rescuers and presented them with state and government awards — the people who are first on the scene after Russian strikes," said the Prime Minister.

More than 56,000 rescuers work across Ukraine. Every day, they pull people from under rubble, put out fires, evacuate residents, clear mines, and help restore critical infrastructure.

During the full-scale war, this work has become even more dangerous. Russian forces deliberately carry out repeat strikes on locations where emergency services are already responding.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has killed 130 Ukrainian rescuers. May their memory live on.

Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi thanked all SES employees for their courage, professionalism, and every life saved: "It is a great honour for me to be here with you today."
