Sergii Koretskyi: We expect Norway to become one of the key donors to the War Risk Insurance Fund

Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi met with Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine, Lars Ragnar Hansen.

The meeting focused on boosting air defense capabilities and protecting people from Russian terror. The two sides also discussed economic matters and support for business.

"The Government is working on setting up a War Risk Insurance Fund and has already earmarked over $1 billion for it in the draft 2027 State Budget. We expect Norway to become one of the fund's key donors," said the Prime Minister.

The meeting also covered ways to hold Russia accountable for its crimes and the damage inflicted on Ukraine.

"I want to thank Norway for its invaluable support of Ukraine and its readiness to keep deepening our joint work to protect people and bring a just peace closer," Sergii Koretskyi said.
