The Verkhovna Rada has supported some of the key legislative initiatives under the Ukraine Facility, the arrangements with the IMF and other international support mechanisms, Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi reported.

"I thank the Members of Parliament who supported the first part of the decisions that are vital for our financial resilience and defense capability," the Head of Government said. "The results of this plenary week give us all reason for optimism, but there is still a great deal of work ahead. Ministers are working with MPs at the level of committees and parliamentary groups, providing all the information needed as they prepare the remaining bills for consideration."

The Prime Minister noted that the Government counts on the same constructive joint work in the coming plenary weeks, to ensure that all the necessary decisions are adopted on time and that Ukraine receives international financial assistance in full.

"Thank you once again. This matters a lot," Sergii Koretskyi summed up.
