Council of the European Union has approved amendments to the Ukraine Plan, paving the way for more than EUR 8 billion in additional financing this year
The Council of the European Union has approved amendments to the Ukraine Plan, paving the way for attracting more than EUR 8 billion in financing in 2026 under the Ukraine Support Loan mechanism, Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky told.
“The Ukraine Plan is the foundation of our reform agenda. It reflects Ukraine’s commitment to strengthening the rule of law, improving governance, fighting corruption, and building a modern, resilient economy on our path to EU membership,” stressed the Head of Government.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine expressed gratitude to President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, the entire European Commission, and all EU member states “for their trust, and continued partnership.”
