Distinguished colleagues, fellow Ukrainians, good afternoon.

The defence capability of our country directly depends on whether our economy is strong.

It is Ukrainian businesses that are the basis of our recovery, development and success these days.

Therefore, we have two overarching objectives in our economic policy.

The first is to implement business support programmes and promote economic activity.

The second is to create a business climate where entrepreneurs can realise all their potential and ambitions.

Today, the Government is adopting a crucial decision in this regard.

We cancel Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 153, which limited payments for imports of goods and services.

This is something that is of great importance for business.

This liberalisation will open up new opportunities for Ukrainian entrepreneurs to enter new markets, expand Ukrainian exports, create new projects and new jobs in Ukraine.

Today's decision by the Government is in line with the broader deregulation policy we are currently pursuing.

We have reviewed more than a thousand permits, licences and certificates that regulate the interaction between the state and the business.

Some will be completely cancelled, some will be simplified, and some will be digitised. We are working on this constantly.

Improving the working environment for Ukrainian entrepreneurs means expanding export opportunities.

Today, the Government will approve and submit to the Parliament a draft law on the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Turkey.

Duties on a significant number of Ukrainian goods, including 93% of our industrial products, will be cancelled.

Turkey is among our top five trading partners. Therefore, this Agreement creates new opportunities for Ukrainian business.

In April, we already reached export volumes comparable to the pre-war months. This was made possible thanks to a new sea corridor, war risk insurance, investments in logistics and support for Ukrainian exports.

Thanks to business support programmes, we are seeing a gradual economic recovery and improved business activity.

15,000 entrepreneurs have received grants under the eRobota programme. This is an extraordinary success, as these are mostly new businesses that have already created thousands of new jobs.

We are particularly proud of the fact that more than 500 new veteran-owned businesses have been created through the eRobota programme. Grants under this component are available to both veterans and family members of combatants.

In addition, the Government continues to issue grants for processing companies. We have already approved 636 grants worth UAH 3.3 billion.

We keep running the 5-7-9 Affordable Loans Programme. During the martial law period, entrepreneurs have received more than 53,000 such affordable loans totalling almost UAH 213 billion.

We are increasing the network of industrial parks. We launched the updated Made in Ukraine programme and opened 8 regional offices. This is a platform for interaction with entrepreneurs, support for Ukrainian producers, and promotion of Ukrainian goods.

This is what drives our economy and our country.

Finally, I will get back to where I started. The defence capability of our country directly depends on how sound our economy is.

The Government has already allocated almost UAH 60 billion for the purchase of drones this year.

Tens of billions of hryvnias are allocated for the purchase of missiles, shells, equipment and other weapons manufactured in Ukraine.

Since the year's start, the Government has also disbursed UAH 38 billion for the construction of defense borders.

Today, we are approving the procedure for commissioning, maintenance, servicing and keeping record of these fortifications. It is critical to ensure that they are always in good condition. Local authorities will be involved in this work.

I thank everyone who defends our country!

I thank everyone who works for a resilient Ukraine.

Thank you for your attention. Glory to Ukraine!
