Programs of psychological support and medical rehabilitation should be developed as soon as possible applying all modern methods and technologies. This was emphasized by the Minister for Veterans Affairs Iryna Friz during the opening of the Psychological and Medical Rehabilitation Center in Odessa.
"Ukraine needs support at this difficult time. Programs of psychological support and medical rehabilitation are today the area that should be developed at a fast pace with the use of all up-to-date methods and technologies. It is crucial for us now to understand and assess all the risks we will face if we do not expand the modern infrastructure of the appropriate system of assistance for veterans", said Irina Frisz.
It should be noted that the Center was built on the basis of the old destroyed library of the Southern Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after Ushynsky in the framework of financial assistance under the European Command Humanitarian Assistance program in Ukraine (EUCOM HA) and with the support of the US Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
"I believe that together with our international partners, we will be able to realize many more successful projects!" noted the Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
