In the framework of pursuing a policy to boost economic growth, the Government of Ukraine will continue a practice of the introduction of mechanisms to support producers, primarily in the agricultural sector, and attracting investment, in particular through the establishment of industrial parks. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
The Head of Government reminded that, under a Government's resolution a program of compensation for 25-30% of the cost of construction and reconstruction of farms and dairy complexes, as well as a program of compensation for 25% of the cost of agricultural machinery produced in Ukraine had been launched.
"And if it is a small farmer, then we will compensate for 40% of the cost of equipment", added Volodymyr Groysman.
Apart from that, a program of compensation for the cost of planting material for gardeners regardless of the size of companies is in effect.
"Plant gardens and receive 80% as the compensation for the cost of the planting material", said the Head of Government.
He accentuated that the support for farmers is considered the basis of agricultural production in Ukraine. The volume of such support is UAH 1 billion. "The sum (of funding) contains cheaper loans, and a share for fertilizers, seed grains. We will stimulate farming", the PM stressed.
Speaking about the investment component, he noted that the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine is due to kick off its operation in autumn. "I also support the bill on the establishment of industrial parks. I advice this issue be included into a top-priority list, thereby allowing to create additional tools to leverage investments", the Head of Government noted.
