Parliament has approved changes to the budget and supported a UAH 8 billion expense for payments to vaccinated citizens. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced during the Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada.

"We expect that 8 million citizens will apply for UAH 1,000 this year. Everyone will be provided with these resources. As promised, the program will be fully operational from December 19 in the Diia application or on the portal," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister added that the Government would approve the procedure for using the relevant funds at its meeting shortly.

The Ukrainian President's eSupport program is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses affected by the pandemic as well as encouraging the vaccination process. According to the program, fully vaccinated Ukrainians will receive UAH 1,000 for the exhaustive list of services through the Diia portal or application.
