Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk summoned a conference call with the heads of regional state administrations to tackle the key tasks of improving the quality of services in the regions, which will be guaranteed to each Ukrainian citizen for a comfortable and safe life.
"Our Government's Action Program contains very clear goals that will be available for all the citizens in the near future," said Oleksiy Honcharuk. "Each consolidated community should have a hub school and a bus to take children to it. Every child should attend kindergarten. Family doctors and paramedics should be no farther than 7 km away. The centers for the administrative service provision should be available within 30 minutes while specialized assistance - within 60 minutes,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine emphasized.
At the meeting, the Government officials presented a map of existing infrastructure that is currently outdated and does not meet the modern requirements and needs of the people. The regional authorities were given clear instructions on how to provide relevant quality and comfort for people in every region of Ukraine.
"For the past one-and-half months, our team has mapped the infrastructure of the country for the first time - more than 110,000 facilities: schools, kindergartens, hospitals, police stations. Now every region has a clear deadline - by December 10, each regional state administration should model its local infrastructure network, which should be available in each area. With clear marks, where it is necessary to create a school, where a kindergarten, and where a police station", urged Oleksiy Honcharuk. "More than 70% of Ukrainian citizens live in CC and cities of region subordinate. The comfortable life of each of them is our essential mission!”
