  • Prime Minister: Ukraine triggers beta testing of "Digital COVID certificates"

    Ukraine is finilizing preparations for the introduction of "COVID certificates". The document will fully comply with the requirements of the European Commission. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on June 30.

    According to the Head of Government, the certificate can be generated in the Diia application as well as on the Diia portal. In the future, everyone can obtain the document from a family doctor.

    "We have already adopted the necessary resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, which determines the procedure for using such certificates. Everything is ready for the launch of documents, and their beta testing will begin on July 1. Our goal is to return to Ukrainians the opportunity to travel around the world without barriers," said Denys Shmyhal.

    The Prime Minister commissioned Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna to intensify work on completing the audit of the Ukrainian electronic certificate and signing a relevant agreement with the European Commission.
