During the solemn ceremony of awarding the All-Ukrainian Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2020, which took place on October 3, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal congratulated educators on their professional holiday.

The Head of Government stressed that teachers are laying the foundation for the future of Ukraine. "And not only in Ukraine, because our people work all over the world. And it is you who bring up the best minds, the best innovators," said the Prime Minister.

Denys Shmyhal thanked the educators for their work, perseverance and attitude towards students. "Teachers are important. I wish you health, inspiration and may your students love, respect and honor you all their lives. Happy holiday!" the Head of the Government emphasized.

The Prime Minister also thanked the organizers of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2020 for an initiative that enhances the status of Ukrainian teachers in society. "The event demonstrates the importance of our teachers, which is not always appreciated. It should be not only on Teacher's Day, but every day," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
