  • Prime Minister inspected the repair of the Road of Unity section in Ternopil region

    During a working trip to Ternopil region on November 16, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal got acquainted with the progress of construction activities on the Hayiv highway overcrossing. He also inspected the current repair within the framework of the President's programme Large Construction of the public road of state importance M-30 Stryy - Uman - Dnipro - Izvaryne on the section km 97 + 428 - km 145 + 133 within the Ternopil region.

    According to the Prime Minister, the repair activities have almost completed. Nowadays, the installation of external lighting, repair of sidewalks, replacement of road signs, application of horizontal road markings and lighting of pedestrian crossings continues at an accelerated pace.

    "The Ternopil bypass has been in need of repair for decades. Thanks to the President's Large Construction programme, it has finally received a proper upgrade that will help unload traffic through the city. This section will be part of the longest road of Ukraine M-30, which will connect the east and west of our state," Denys Shmyhal stressed.

    In Ternopil region, 275 km of roads were built this year and more than 160 km last year, which is more than in all previous years of Independence. Road construction is comprehensive, which has a positive impact on the development of the region.
