For the three years of its activity, the current Government of Ukraine has fulfilled a key task – it has managed to break the trend of destruction in the economy through a variety of objective reasons, primarily amid external aggression, and ensured stability and growth. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during the Government sitting.

The PM reminded that on Monday, May 20, he had decided to resign. And today, on May 22, the relevant application will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. "The past three years were rather difficult. We had to deal with difficult and sometimes unprecedented problems. And we have always tried to find the correct solutions. One of the main tasks we have managed to perform is we have changed the trend - from destruction to economic growth. We started to achieve progress, introduce changes", the Head of Government said.

According to him, three years is a considerable period of time, but it is insufficient to completely eliminate the problems that have accumulated in the country for decades.

"But we have stability, the economy is growing. Foreign exchange reserves reached a maximum of USD20 billion. We have increased the minimum wage threefold, the average wage - twofold. This is the beginning, and we have a plan of how to achieve further goals", said Volodymyr Groysman.

The PM emphasized that the country faces a lot of challenges both in the security sector and in the energy sector.

"No matter what position I hold, for me Ukraine is not just a spot on the map. We have a lot of tasks to perform. I have my vision for the future. I believe in what I have done so far, and I will exert every effort to fight for the success of Ukraine", said Volodymyr Groysman.
