On 30 July 2024, the Government decided to award the Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for Special Achievements of Youth in the Development of Ukraine. The prize of UAH 50,000 will be awarded to 20 young people whose initiatives contribute to the development of youth initiatives at the local level.

“Our youth is the main force that leads the country forward. They are not just implementing their ideas, they are shaping the future of our nation. This award is a recognition of their dedication and contribution to the development of Ukraine. I am proud of each winner and I am confident that their achievements will serve as an example for future generations,” said Matvii Bidnyi, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

“The young people who receive this award show us that change is possible today. Their initiatives and projects are steps towards a better future for all of us. We will continue to support youth initiatives, as they are the basis of our progress and development,” added Deputy Minister Andrii Chesnokov.

The award is given to people under 35 for achievements that contribute to the development of youth initiatives at the local level. The areas of recognition include human rights activities, national and patriotic education, development of volunteer initiatives, implementation of entrepreneurial projects, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, protection of children’s rights, and others. The award includes a diploma, a badge and a cash prize.
