Prime Minister: We double funding for support programmes for war veterans in 2024
Funding for support programmes for war veterans will be doubled in 2024. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government meeting on 10 November.
"We earmark UAH 14 billion to provide our veterans with the necessary services and support. We are building a new veterans' policy. We will fully launch the Veteran's Assistant project, for which we budget almost UAH 4 billion. Rehabilitation and psychological services - UAH 2.6 billion. We envisage UAH 6 billion to provide veterans with housing," said Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, veterans will continue to receive preferential mortgages under the eOselia programme. Under the eRobota programme, non-refundable grants will remain available for veteran businesses.
