russia prolongs a policy of intimidation and terrorism, and therefore must be recognized as a terrorist state at the international level. This was emphasized by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in a conversation with the Administrator of the USAID Samantha Power.

Denys Shmyhal reminded of the cynical and brutal shelling of Ukrainian cities by russia. In particular, Mykolaiv, Chasiv Yar, Vinnytsia, where dozens of civilians were killed.

"The U.S. support under the leadership of President Biden in our fight against the aggressor is unprecedented. Military, economic and humanitarian aid helps save the lives of many Ukrainians every day. And we are grateful to our partners for that," the Head of the Government emphasized.

During the talks, the parties discussed the intensification of cooperation between the Government and the USAID. The Prime Minister thanked the Agency for allocating, together with the World Bank, $1.7 billion in direct budget support this week.

"Despite active hostilities, Ukraine's economy continues to work. The Government, in turn, has developed programs of non-refundable grant support for small and medium-sized businesses. This is important for Ukrainians who want to work here on their native land. We intend to support entrepreneurship and create jobs," stressed the Head of Government.

The Prime Minister offered USAID to expand its small business support programs in Ukraine and to join the programs of grant support of Ukrainians who want to create startups.

Denys Shmyhal and Samantha Power also raised the issue of increasing opportunities in Ukraine for grain storage, construction of mobile grain storage facilities, as well as the Ukraine Recovery Plan.
