To date, 411 medical facilities have been fully restored and another 412 have been partially restored. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a Government session on 31 October.

“russia is deliberately attacking our hospitals to provoke a humanitarian catastrophe. 1,455 medical facilities have been damaged, 190 have been completely destroyed and will have to be rebuilt from scratch. We are not waiting for the war to end to take on this task. We are continuing to work intensively, because every medical facility that resumes its work means saved lives,” the Prime Minister said.

Denys Shmyhal also noted that russian troops have attacked more than 3,500 educational facilities, half of which are secondary schools. He said that more than 500 educational institutions had been rebuilt during the full-scale war: “We are working on this together – the Government, regional and local authorities, international partners and civil society.”
