The Government continues to provide preferential loans and grants to small and medium-sized businesses. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UAH 2 billion in micro-grants have already been disbursed for business start-ups, UAH 2.2 billion to manufacturing companies to expand production capacity, and UAH 541 million to farmers to plant new gardens and build new greenhouses.
“Our entrepreneurs are adapting to the realities of wartime and are optimistic about the future. For the second quarter in a row, we have positive expectations for the growth of business activity,” the Head of Government said.
The Prime Minister added that during the full-scale war, businesses received almost 40,000 loans worth UAH 155.5 billion under the 5-7-9% programme.
