Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal chaired a meeting on the introduction of mandatory pension savings.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovych, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Yulia Sokolovska, Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights Galyna Tretyakova, representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Pension Fund.

"As a result of the reform, every Ukrainian citizen should receive their own pension savings accounts. This will ensure a fair and decent pension for citizens," the Prime Minister said.

On the outcomes of the meeting, the Head of Government gave a task to systematize the existing practices for further development of solutions in this area.
