Prime Minister visits Resilience Center in Kherson

During his working visit to Kherson, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal got familiarized with the work of the city's Resilience Center.

This institution was opened in May this year with the support of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the community and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska.

"This is a place where everyone can get professional psychological help and support in challenging moments. The Center has a team of a psychologist, a social worker and a coordinator. Both individual and group counseling are provided," Denys Shmyhal emphasized and added that the Center also provides first aid training for rescuers, utility workers and local authorities.

“This is one of the examples of how communities, together with the state and partners, are building a system of support for people who have survived the occupation, losses, shelling, evacuation,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

The Head of Government informed that other communities of the region were also planning to open new Resilience Centers.
