Prime Minister: Government allocates UAH 840 million to protect energy facilities in Kharkiv region
The Government has allocated UAH 840 million to protect energy facilities in Kharkiv region.
This decision was adopted on 22 September during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The funds, drawn from the State Budget’s reserve fund, have been directed to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration for the construction of protective structures at substations operated by JSC Kharkivoblenergo.
“This will help safeguard transformers at substations that supply electricity and heating to over 220,000 residents of Kharkiv region from russian attacks,” said Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko. “Our task is to do everything possible to ensure that Ukrainians in frontline regions have electricity and heating, despite relentless russian attacks.”
